Yunishigawa Onsen Ice and Kamakura Festival

Yunishigawa Onsen is a spa town in the mountains located upstream of famous Kinugawa Onsen. As it is situated in the mountains, snowfall are significant in winter. At every ryokan in Yunishigawa Onsen, you can drink sake while enjoying a snow scene at the open-air bath. Moreover, you can experience and play in the snow sled and Kamakura, igloo-like snow houses. These are lightening up at night and create a fantastic atmosphere.

Transportation: (From Tokyo) 3 hours from Tobu Railway Asakusa Station to Kinugawa Onsen Station by limited express and bus bound for Yunishigawa Onsen.
